Find your way to the ultimate goal: self-actualization

At the end of the day, you feel tired and drained and every now and then you also lose yourself in the process by sometimes giving out a lot of yourself to these children. But amidst all these, it’s very rewarding to know that you have shared something vital to them. Perhaps it is that inkling feeling of helping these children, that you tend to give out a piece of yourself, hoping that such imprints will help them be better individuals in the process.

That is I think the beauty of teaching. You shell out more of yourself, losing yourself in the process of giving out tons of it but it all boils down to having that ‘love’ for your vocation and for the children. And perhaps the best part of it is when you try to (or sometimes unintentionally) aid students and others reach self-actualization, only realizing at the end that by doing so, lets you reach self-actualization for yourself as well.

Every teacher is indeed a hero in his own little ways.
